Talia Brumfield (Jd), attorney
Talia is an attorney who has dedicated her career to public service and child advocacy. Prior to her legal career, she worked in nonprofit youth services and public education – experiences that drove her to go to law school to become an attorney for youth. She cares deeply about youth empowerment, trauma prevention, family integrity, and systemic reform.
She graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Law School, where she served as the Editor in Chief of the Lewis & Clark Law Review and the President of the Youth Justice Club. She was also recognized as a Lezak Social Justice Fellow through Lewis & Clark and as a Bergstrom Child Welfare Law Fellow through the University of Michigan Law School. As a law student, she focused on public interest law, gaining internship and externship experience in child welfare law and criminal justice. Upon her graduation, she began working in civil legal aid.
Talia is committed to providing trauma-informed, holistic, and zealous advocacy for youth. She is honored to walk alongside youth in their journeys and is inspired by the resilience of youth, families, and communities. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, crocheting, hiking, and spending time with her family.
